I am the multi-award winning author of four novels set in the fascinating history of the American Civil War: An Eye for Glory, Until Shiloh Comes, Prairie Dog Town, and The Gates of Sheol.
It was the coolest thing ever to see my first novel on the top shelf at the Gettysburg Visitors Center Bookstore.
My fictional stories are true to history. I honor those who fought both in Union blue and Confederate gray by weaving my stories within the actual events so that, as one reader put it, my fiction reads like non-fiction.
You will also find a strong Christian theme in each of my novels, not only because I am a Christian, but because during the Civil War, America was very much a Christian nation. It has always been intriguing to me how Christians could be polar opposites on the issue of slavery, to the point that an estimated 650,000 men had to die trying to settle the issue.
